 <description>&lt;p&gt;Never one to turn down the offer of a 4 year celebration, we at Creative Republic WM were keen to know more about the Cultural Olympiad and how it could benefit us all. So on Thursday 15th May 2008 6-8pm, Creative Republic WM, with support from Birmingham Hippodrome, hosted an informal evening with Paul Kaynes, the Regional Creative Programmer for the Cultural Olympiad.&lt;/p&gt;

With strong networks and senior level contacts across the city, Lorraine will be able to provide potential access to new members, speakers and sponsors when we are ready to launch.  Previously with   Birmingham Forward, Lorraine established Weave Marketing in 2004.  As well as being regional secretary for the RSA West Midlands, Lorraine is immediate past regional director of the Professional Marketing Forum.&lt;/p&gt;

John’s involvement with the music industry began in Birmingham in 1972 and covers all aspects of management from touring with artists such as the Drifters and Bill Haley and the Comets through to band management of the Beat, the Selector, Fine Young Cannibals, Ocean Colour Scene, the Wonderstuff and Alison Moyet, amongst many others.&lt;/p&gt;

Awarded Birmingham Young Professional of the Year in 2005, Stef was also named Birmingham University’s Alumnus of the Year in 2006.&lt;/p&gt;

 <title>Mark Ball </title>

 <title>Helga Henry  - Chairman</title>

 <description>&lt;p&gt;Helga is director of Fierce Earth which runs the annual Fierce festival.  She is a graduate in French and Drama and also a qualified lawyer, being a former Associate at Wragge &amp;amp; Co.   Helga’s drama training included studies in directing and the teaching of speech, dramatic art and public speaking. She is an adjudicator for a number of regional debating competitions for local schools and on the voluntary Board of management of Geese Theatre.&lt;/p&gt;
