An Alternate 'Visit Birmingham Itinerary'
Today I came across a double page spread in Visit Birmingham’s Pocket Guide for 2009. It basically gives you an example 48 hour itinerary for a weekend in Birmingham. Reading it reminded me just how much to do there is in Birmingham, but looking at it in more detail I considered; could I afford this weekend in Birmingham? Not that Birmingham is a particularly expensive place, just the example itinerary had some of the premier attractions included - as it should I might add, that's the job of a tourism guide!
Broadcast from Studio 36
Thanks for everyone involved in last night’s ‘My Dad’s On Twitter…’ event. Especially to our four speakers, Marc Reeves, Dave Harte, Jon Hickman and Jaki Booth. There will be plenty of feedback and shared thoughts shortly. The illustrated wall is going to be left up for the next week or so and we will be posting photos of that with some notes on alot of the points raised. The broadcast is available to view again at:

- Hand made jams and chutneys
- Home made tarts
- Fresh bread
- Olives and all that kind of stuff
- Real chocolate milkshakes, hot chocolate and strawberries
- Organic meet, fruit and veg
- Flowers
In our galleries are a selection of images from the market AND a video of the event.
